About Us

Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner!

Nestled on the unspoilt Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall, our UK glamping site offers a truly unique escape in what locals lovingly call Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner. Far from the crowds, yet close to hidden coves, sandy beaches, and breathtaking coastal paths, this peaceful setting is perfect for families, small groups of up to 14, friends, couples, and well-behaved dogs.

Family-Run Glamping

We offer three beautifully styled eco-friendly stays — two spacious safari tents and a cosy wooden cabin — each with their own private shower, compost toilet, fire pit, and outdoor space.

Rame Safari Tent and Cornish Vibes Safari Tent provide the magic of canvas-living with log burners, covered decks, and thoughtful décor, while Ebb & Flow Cabin is a rustic retreat with its own outdoor kitchen, ideal for families with young children.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. From upcycled furnishings and solar lighting to eco-friendly toiletries and fire kits, every detail is designed with care for both guests and the environment.

Meet Your Host – Michele

Hello, I’m Michele, and I’m very glad you’ve found us.

I grew up in Northern Ireland as the eldest of eleven children in my parents’ lively pub, where hospitality was simply part of everyday life. I was helping serve customers from about the age of ten and occasionally performing an Irish dancing set when the band struck up on a Saturday evening. Without realising it, I was learning the art of welcoming people long before I knew it was a career.

Life eventually brought me to Cornwall via Sheffield, where I briefly studied art and met my husband Colin. After training as a nurse, I spent many years caring for patients both in hospital and as a community nurse in my local town — work that I loved and that suited my instinct for looking after people. It also means I’m your on-site first aider here at the glampsite.

Like many lives, mine has had its unexpected turns. After recovering from a serious illness and later caring for my wonderful in-laws through their long journeys with dementia, I found myself wanting to create something of my own — something independent, meaningful and connected to the outdoors.

That dream eventually became Tregantle Farm Eco Glampsite.

Building the site has required resilience, patience and plenty of determination, but I’ve always believed that if you care deeply about something and keep going, good things will follow.

Colin helps quietly behind the scenes keeping the grass cut and everything running smoothly, as well as his day job, while I focus on making sure every guest feels welcome, comfortable and well looked after.

My hope is simple: that when you stay here you’ll slow down, sleep deeply under big Cornish skies and leave feeling refreshed by the beauty of this special place.
